Out-of-District Pre-K Information

Students living outside the CFBISD attendance zone may apply to attend Pre-K in CFBISD. We offer both free and tuition-based Pre-K. A child must be four-years-old on or before Sep. 1 of the enrolling school year to be eligible. Space is limited. Applications will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Free Pre-K Qualifications

If your child is approved to enroll in CFBISD Pre-K, you will work directly with the campus to see if you meet one of the following criteria for Free Pre-K.

  1. Limited English proficient 
  2. Economically disadvantaged
  3. Homeless
  4. A child of an active duty member of the United States armed forces
  5. A child of a member of the United States armed forces who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
  6. A child in foster care (presently or in the past)
  7. A child of a recipient of the Star of Texas Award

Pay for Full Day Pre-K Cost

If your child does not qualify for free Pre-K, you may apply for Pay Pre-K.

$100 non-refundable application fee
$550 per month pay for Pre-K plan
