Is my child eligible for Free Pre-K?

To be eligible for enrollment, a child must:

• be four years of age on September 1 of the current school year 

and

• Be unable to speak and comprehend the English language
• Be educationally disadvantaged
• Be homeless
• Be the child of an active-duty member of the military, including the National Guard or Reserves
• Be the child of a member of the military, including the National Guard or Reserves, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
• Has ever been in the conservatorship of the Texas DFPS (foster care) following an adversary hearing
• Has been in foster care in another state or territory, and the child now resides in Texas
• Is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award
• Be the child of a person employed as a classroom teacher in CFBISD

If I don't qualify for free Pre-K, can my child still attend?

Certainly! We offer tuition-based Pre-K for students who do not qualify for free Pre-K. The current rate is $550 per month with a one-time $100 enrollment fee. Updated rates for the 2026-27 school year will be released by April 1. While we cannot guarantee a spot at your preferred campus due to capacity, we are committed to ensuring every child has a seat. If your first choice is full, we will work with you to find a placement at one of our other amazing Pre-K campuses.
