Celebrating Cultural Moments

Cultural Diversity

The mission of CFBISD, a diverse community of global learners, is to empower scholars to acquire life-long knowledge, skills, and values that prepare them to compete in the world marketplace while contributing to their community.

Educating more than 24,000 students who represent 116 countries, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD is a hub of cultural diversity. CFBISD, with a population of learners who speak more than 55 languages and dialects, is one of the most culturally diverse school districts in North Texas, and we consider that to be a strength!

We believe in celebrating the significant moments and traditions of our students, families and staff year-round during nationally designated cultural months to honor our rich diversity. This year, we will feature these celebrations through our new Celebrating Cultural Moments webpage to highlight stories, events, and resources shared by members of our CFB community.

This effort will honor communities, cultures and lived experiences, while also fostering a supportive environment in CFBISD where all belong, feel valued, and are included.
