Ranchview Culinary Team Serves Fans at Dallas Cowboys Game

Ranchview High School's culinary team scored big at the Dallas Cowboys home opener against the New Orleans Saints at AT&T Stadium. The team, consisting of current culinary students and alumni, served their "Touchdown Tacos" to hungry fans, which sold out before halftime.

The team earned this exclusive opportunity thanks to their second-place finish last April in the "Taste of the Cowboys" competition, sponsored by the Dallas Cowboys. During the competition, the students had to create a three-course tailgate-themed meal for a panel of judges. The victory earned them a $5,000 prize and the opportunity to return and cook at the Cowboys' home opener.

"I'm incredibly proud of these talented students and the hard work they've put into this program," said Yeshenia Gallardo, Culinary Academy Facilitator. "We're excited to compete again this year and aim for the top spot."

The students were featured serving fans on the WFAA and NBC5 news channels on the day of the event.
