Four CFBISD schools recognized as National PTA Schools of Excellence

Four Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD schools have been honored with the prestigious National PTA School of Excellence designation for the next two years.

The selected campuses, who were recognized at the Sept. 4 board meeting, are Country Place Elementary, Freeman Elementary, Polk Middle School and Smith High School.

The National PTA School of Excellence program encourages schools to improve communication and use data to make decisions that positively impact their communities. PTAs that achieve this recognition demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the educational experience and overall well-being of all students.

The CFBISD community has shown strong support for its schools this year, with more than 3,700 individuals currently signed up for PTA. Fourteen of these members are CFB Champions, serving all 32 campus PTAs within the district.

The CFBISD Council PTA encourages all to get involved and join their local PTA. For more information, visit joinpta.org.
