Elementary students impress judges at Regional Science and Engineering Fair

30 Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD elementary students competed this week in the Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Held at Garland’s Curtis Culwell Center, young scientists from across DFW gathered to present their projects and compete for first place.

Industry professionals from the science and engineering community judged projects in the following categories:

  • Life science
  • Earth science
  • Physical science
  • Engineering

Prior to the regional competition, science fairs were held at individual CFBISD schools. The grand prize winner from each campus was eligible to advance, resulting in 14 schools submitting projects from the district.
