Creekview Graduate Lands Two Impressive Internships While at Texas A&M University

McKenzie Starr, a 2017 graduate of Creekview High School in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District and a current Industrial Distribution major with a business minor at Texas A&M University in College Station, took part in two impressive internships over the last six months.

Starr was a virtual intern with Motorola Solutions on the Worldwide Sales and Leadership team and is currently interning at the White House in Washington, D.C. She was only one of seven interns nationwide selected for Motorola's Sales Engineering Internship.

Starr is very passionate about serving women through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). She plays a very active role within the College of Engineering at Texas A&M, serving on two organizations. Starr holds an Ambassador position for the Women in Engineering Program and serves on the Society of Women in Industrial Distribution.

Starr also belongs to the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at Texas A&M where she takes on a leadership role in the organization. She is constantly empowering the women in the organization to reach their highest potential.

After her White House internship, she will return to her Junior Year at Texas A&M in College Station for the spring semester.

CFBISD is proud of their graduates. We congratulate McKenzie on all of her accomplishments and look forward to hearing about her future journey.
