award from Commit to CFBISD

Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD leadership and three high schools were honored for outstanding governance and student achievement at the 2026 Economic Mobility Summit, hosted by Commit Partnership.

Superintendent Dr. Wendy Eldredge and the CFBISD Board of Trustees accepted the School Board & Superintendent Leadership Award. The honor, which is part of the Commit Systems Leadership recognition, celebrates sustained district progress driven by strong partnership between district administration and the school board.

Commit organization leaders noted that long-term student success requires steady leadership and focused collaboration, highlighting CFBISD as a model for effective governance centered on student outcomes.

In addition to executive leadership honors, CFBISD earned district- and campus-level awards from the Economic Mobility Center for expanding postsecondary opportunities:

  • College Enrollment Award: Recognized CFBISD’s district-wide efforts to transition high school graduates into postsecondary degree and credential programs
  • Early College High School: Dual recognition for TSI Readiness and College Enrollment
  • R.L. Turner High School: Recognized for College Enrollment achievements
  • Ranchview High School: Recognized for TSI Readiness standards
