The Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District is proud to announce that our wonderful community partner, Metrocrest Services, provides free meals to area families during the Thanksgiving holiday. With our CFBISD communities help, we can supply food to needing families this Thanksgiving holiday. Each family will receive an ample box of food based on their family's size.

All supplies collected will be distributed to low-income families living in Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Addison, Coppell, and Dallas in Denton County. Last year, Metrocrest Services distributed approximately 2,428 boxes of food to families during November and December.

Any food remaining after the holidays will be distributed through their Food Pantry, where Metrocrest Services assist an average of 750 families weekly with 25+ pounds of food per person. During the last year, the pantry distributed over 832,707 meals to help local families address food insecurities.
