Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD has been named an Outstanding District by the Texas Educational Theatre Association (TxETA), with six local campuses earning individual Awards of Distinction for their performance in theatre education.
The TxETA Awards of Distinction celebrate school districts and individual theatre departments that make significant contributions to raising theatre education standards across the state. Honorees are evaluated on their student achievement, curation of instructional resources and dedication to arts advocacy.
Six CFBISD campuses were recognized across two tiers of distinction, spanning elementary and middle school levels:
