The RSPA, a volunteer organization made up of retired CFBISD employees, continues to play a vital role in supporting the district by providing resources and encouragement to teachers and students. This annual event serves as an opportunity to formally honor and thank retirees for their lasting contributions to the CFBISD community.

Attendees enjoyed a fall-themed celebration featuring a Thanksgiving lunch and festive centerpiece sculptures created by fine arts students and staff. The program also included musical and dance performances by DeWitt Perry Middle School’s jazz ensemble, E.L. Kent Elementary School’s Momentum Dance Company, and Ranchview High School’s show choir.

Superintendent Dr. Wendy Eldredge expressed her deep appreciation for the RSPA’s continued involvement in the district.

“During this special season of Thanksgiving, it’s heartwarming to have the chance to honor our retired school personnel,” Dr. Eldredge said. “Every success story in CFBISD today, every student who graduates, every victory, every award, rests on the foundation of excellence and compassion that they built.”
