CFB Giving House Honors More Than 100 Inaugural Donors

The CFBISD Giving House hosted its Inaugural Founding Donor Reception on Nov. 11, 2021, to honor more than 100 inaugural donors who in total have donated more than $100,000.

The CFBISD Giving House is a place where school counselors can request specific items for their students to meet basic needs. It performs much like a clothes closet and keeps an inventory of new, specific items such as socks, underwear, hygiene items, fleece or knit jackets, and uniforms. Since its inception, the Giving House has served more than 5,000 students.

The CFBISD Giving House is made possible because of its donors. Community members, teachers and staff, businesses, churches, retired educators, CFBISD vendors and many other community organizations have donated and will be recognized on an inaugural plaque at the CFBISD Administration Building.
