An important message from Dr. Eldredge

Dear CFB Family,

Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD is committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to learn and succeed. Every student, family, employee, and individual in our community is a valued CFB Family member. And I’m proud that we champion the right for all children to have equal access to a public education, regardless of their immigration status.

We recognize the recent executive order pertaining to changes in federal immigration enforcement is causing concern in our community. For many, these are not just policy discussions, but deeply personal issues that can create anxiety and fear.

While we assess and learn more about this new policy, we believe in providing vital support to ensure our students, families, and staff stay safe and informed. Helpful public and community resources as well as FAQs are available on our website. The district is also supporting staff members to help them navigate questions and concerns. Counselors will always be available for anyone who may need assistance. A hotline and email are also available at (972) 968-6149 and familysupport@cfbisd.edu

We are dedicated to keeping our community informed and will provide important updates. Please know the well-being, safety, and success of our students and staff will continue to be our priorities and guiding lights.

Sincerely,

Dr. Wendy Eldredge
Superintendent
Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD
