Bus Badge
The district is expanding its Bus Badge Program to all CFBISD elementary schools as part of its continued commitment to student safety and transportation efficiency.
Beginning Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026 all CFBISD elementary bus riders will receive a district-provided bus badge that they’ll use each time they ride their assigned bus to and from school. The system helps bus drivers confirm riders, allows for more accurate route tracking, and supports the district’s commitment to efficiency and accountability. Parents can also use the EZ A2B App to track their student's bus route and get estimated arrival times.
The district first introduced the Bus Badge program in September 2025 as a pilot at Stark Elementary, Polk Middle School and Newman Smith High School. Following a successful rollout, the initiative expanded in Jan. to require all secondary students to use a badge to ride the school bus.
With the addition of elementary campuses, the program is now fully implemented districtwide, further strengthening student safety, accountability, and transportation efficiency across CFBISD.
