Math Summer Surge Challenge
Don’t let your math skills slide this summer—surge ahead instead! We are excited to launch the Math Summer Surge Challenge, a fun, optional summer program specifically designed for our incoming 7th and 8th-grade students. Middle school math is a critical foundation for upcoming End-of-Course (EOC) testing, making summer the perfect time to stay plugged in.
This targeted challenge is designed to take just 30 minutes per week to keep math skills fresh, close learning gaps, and build confidence for the upcoming school year.
How it works:

Log in to CFB Connect to access Progress Learning, our district's online instructional learning platform.

Complete short, weekly practice tasks using your personalized, targeted Study Plan.

Track your progress along the way by downloading our fillable tracking sheets.

Turn your completed tracking sheet in to your math teacher when you return to school in August to receive a goody bag from the math department.
