The Information Technology Academy (ITA) is a Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) which prepares students for high-demand careers in the IT field, connects students to a network of industry leaders in our community, and offers post-secondary opportunities leading to Associates degrees in the following pathways: information technology support and services, networking systems, and web development. ​ Students will benefit from the collaborative partnership between CFBISD, higher education entities, and our industry partners, such as Microsoft, Texas Instruments, and CISCO; giving students the opportunity to learn essential computer science skills to include Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python programming and database administration, computer maintenance and network system administration. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in the TSA (Technology Student Association) a nationwide STEM competition organization hosting over 60 virtual competitions.
