Elementary Personal Safety Lessons
Personal safety lessons in elementary are led by school counselors and help children understand personal boundaries, ways to stay safe, and to tell a trusted adult if they experience a situation where personal safety was in question. School counselors may use the following lessons, which are available for parental review. Parent/guardian permission is required before a student receives the personal safety lesson for their grade level.
Schools will send home notification at least 14 days prior to delivery of the lesson, including directions for parents and guardians to provide permission for their children. Lessons listed but not linked are copyrighted resources that are available for review in your school counselor's office. Please contact your child's school counselor with any questions.
