International Baccalaureate Classes
International Baccalaureate Diploma (DP) classes offer students the opportunity to experience college-level curriculum while still in high school. Students can earn college credit with qualifying scores on the IB exams taken in May of each school year.
In CFBISD, DP classes are available to students enrolled at Ranchview High School.

The International Baccalaureate Diploma (DP) is a cooperative educational endeavor between secondary schools and colleges and universities. IB programming challenge students to excel in their studies, and encourage both personal and academic achievement.
What is the IB Mission Statement?
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.
These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.
