GT Resources For Parents

Association for the Gifted & Talented The Carrollton-Farmers Branch Association for the Gifted and Talented is an independent, voluntary organization of parents, educators and friends of the gifted. Our organization was established in 1978 and continues today providing resources for parents and advocating for students.

TAGT is an organization of educators and parents dedicated to meeting the unique needs of gifted and talented students. Parent resources and learning opportunities are available through the TAGT website and through annual events. Joint memberships with local Parent Support Groups (Richardson Gifted) provide news and online connections for GT parents. TAGT also awards student summer scholarships through an application process for students participating in gifted programs.

NAGC supports and develops policies and practices that encourage and respond to the diverse expressions of gifts and talents in children and youth from all cultures, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and socioeconomic groups. Parent resources, articles, and networking are available through the NAGC website.

SENG is a nonprofit dedicated to fostering environments in which gifted adults and children, in all their diversity, understand and accept themselves and are understood, valued, nurtured, and supported by their families, schools, workplaces, and communities.
