Teacher of the Year

Community partners came together to award prizes to CFBISD Teachers of the Year. The Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year received a cash award of $1000 from Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union and other community partners awarded a huge bag of assorted prizes from Chick-fil-A Trinity Mills, El Rincon Restaurant on the Square, Five Star Ford and Chevy, Jackson Construction, Peachjar, Speed Queen Laundry, Texas Lumberjaxe and the CFBISD Educational Foundation.

Student Ambassador and CFB Rotary 4-Way Speech Winner, Anu Akomolafe from Newman Smith High School, paid tribute to our Teachers of the Year at the awards banquet. Anu stressed the importance of the teaching profession and the impact they have on students now and into the future.
