Connecting the Community

Connecting the Community

Research shows students who meet regularly with their mentors are 52% less likely than their peers to skip a day of school and 37% less likely to skip a class. Students who have a mentor are 55% more likely to be enrolled in college than those who did not have a mentor.

CFBISD is proud to partner with Connecting the Community, a local non-profit organization founded by CFBISD Graduate Andrea Allen.

This mentor partnership will provide academic and emotional support for our students. Volunteers are needed to connect in many ways to serve the community and benefit students. Learn more about the new CFBISD Mentor Program and Connecting the Community here.
