Innovative Grants

• Applications will be available online from September through October annually.

• Grant writing training workshop and Q/A will be held with valuable tips.

• Grants will be awarded in January of that school year. 

The Innovative Grants provides funding up to $1000 for individual initiated programs or funding up to $5000 to campus teams and departments. The number of awards depends on funds available to the CFBISD Educational Foundation.  All employees of the CFBISD are eligible to apply.

The purpose of the Innovative Granting Program is to:

• Encourage, facilitate, recognize and reward innovative and creative instructional approaches to the accomplishment of program objectives.
• Provide financial assistance for innovative programs or projects that enhance learning and align with the department or district vision, improvement plans, or strategic plans. 
• Provide financial assistance and support for the CFBISD Innovation Academy thru donations, sponsorships and partnerships.

Innovative Grant Important Dates:

• Innovative Grants Open - Friday, August 30
• Innovative Grant Workshop (virtual and not mandatory) - Wednesday, September 11
• Innovative Grants Close - Tuesday, October 1 at 5:00 pm
