Support our schools: CFBISD invites community to volunteer

Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD knows that a truly successful school district is built on a strong partnership with its community. Our volunteers regularly go above and beyond to support our campuses, and there are opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Whether it’s assisting in a classroom, being a caring mentor to a student, helping out at school events, or offering essential support for administrative tasks, our volunteers fill vital roles that directly enrich the lives of our students and the well-being of our staff.

"Being a CFBISD volunteer is about becoming an active partner in a child's education,” said Katrina Spottsville, CFBISD community partnerships coordinator. “We see firsthand the difference these caring individuals make, not just in classrooms, but in boosting the morale and spirit of our entire district.”

To ensure a protected environment, CFBISD requires all individuals to be approved before volunteering on our campuses. The district uses the Raptor system to conduct mandatory background checks, and all volunteers must maintain an active and approved status each year. Once the background check is cleared and district approvals are finalized, volunteers may begin serving on a CFBISD campus.

“We encourage everyone to join us in supporting the future of our students," Spottsville said.
