 May 1, 2027 – Board of Trustees Election and Application Timeline:

• First day to file an application for a place on General Election ballot- Wednesday, January 13, 2027.
• A candidate application may be filed in person, by mail, by fax, or by email:

• Last day to file for place on General Election ballot - Friday, February 12, 2027, at 5:00 pm.
• Last Day to Register to Vote - Thursday, April 1, 2027.
• The location will be all applicable polling locations for Dallas County and Denton County, as determined by the counties.
• Early Voting Starts - Monday, April 19, 2027* subject to change.
• Early Voting Ends - Tuesday, April 27, 2027* subject to change.
• Election Day - Saturday, May 1, 2027.
