Middle School and High School

30 day enrollment for all "will recommend" or "may recommend" referrals

30 day enrollment for all "shall be placed" referrals

Releases will be at the end of 30 successful days and  terminating at the conclusion of the closest grading period.

The following dates are for regular scheduled release: September 27 October 18 November 8 December 20 January 31 Februrary 21 March 21 April 11 May 2 May 30

Persistent Misbehavior Placements Salazar will close to secondary persistent misbehavior placements when enrollment  reaches 85% of maximum.   Mandatory placements, which generally continue at a rate of 12-15 per week, will continue to be enrolled.  Enrollment will reopen to  persistent misbehavior placements when total enrollment falls below 85%.

Students are released only after documented successes in attendance and behavior.  Placement may be lengthened by the DAEP Principal to provide the student  extended opportunities to internalize positive behaviors.
