Dress Code/Standardized Dress
C-FB ISD has schools whose students wear standardized dress. Standardized dress is mandatory at Vivian Field Middle School and at the nine campuses involved in the district’s standardized dress pilot study for 2005-06. Those campuses are Barbara Bush Middle School, DeWitt Perry Middle School, Carrollton Elementary School, Central Elementary School, Bernice Chatman Freeman Elementary School, R. E. Good Elementary School, Tom Landry Elementary School, Las Colinas Elementary School, and Riverchase Elementary School. Students in the other elementary schools listed below have specific standardized dress code requirements unique to their campus. Families who may need financial assistance should call the principal's office of their campus. Parents with additional questions about dress should contact their individual schools. All clothing items and student grooming must meet the district’s dress and grooming policy, which can be found in the new Dress and Grooming policies .

DAVE BLAIR INTERMEDIATE Bottoms-Navy or Khaki shorts or pants. Shirts-red, white, navy, or hunter green shirts, sweatshirts or sweaters. Striped shirts with any combination of red, white or navy. Accessories-brown belts.	L. F. BLANTON ELEMENTARY Bottoms - Navy, khaki or black pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, jumper Shirt/blouse (for boys and girls) Style - Knit polo shirts (short or long sleeve) white, red, navy blue, dark green; white button down shirt

CARROLLTON ELEMENTARY Bottoms - Navy or khaki pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers. "Cargo" pants or shorts are allowed. Shirts--White, navy, or green with collars Red, white or navy cardigan sweaters may be worn in cooler weather Spirit wear including both t-shirts and sweaters can only be worn on Fridays.	CENTRAL ELEMENTARY Bottoms-Black, navy or khaki dress pants, jumpers, pleated skirts or dress shorts. Shirts/blouses-Red or white (short or long sleeve) Socks or tights-Black or white Shoes-Solid black dress shoes or closed-toe tennis shoes. Accessories-Black suspenders, belts or windbreakers.

FARMERS BRANCH ELEMENTARY Bottoms - Navy and khaki pants, shirts, shorts, skorts, jumper Shirts - polo style knit shirts red, navy, white (long or short sleeve) Sweatshirts - with Farmers Branch logo, red or navy Accessories - brown belt, students can wear Farmers Branch spirit shirts on any day.	BERNICE CHATMAN FREEMAN ELEMENTARY Bottoms - khaki and navy slacks, shorts, skirts, skorts, jumpers Shirts - knit polo with collar or button down or regular spread collar - navy, white, red (long or short sleeves), turtlenecks and sweaters may be worn in cooler weather (same colors) Socks and tights - red, white, navy, khaki. Shoes - closed toes

TOM LANDRY ELEMENTARY Bottoms - Navy and khaki pants, shorts, skirts and skorts Shoes - Solid black, white Shirts - polo type with collar in navy, burgundy or white (short or long sleeves) All accessories, socks, belts must follow color code guidelines. Spirit shirts may be worn on Friday.	LAS COLINAS ELEMENTARY Color - khaki and navy slacks, shorts, skirts, skorts, jumpers Shirts - knit polo with collar or button down or regular spread collar - navy, white, red (long or short sleeves), turtlenecks and sweaters may be worn in cooler weather (same colors) Socks and tights - red, white, navy, khaki. Shoes - closed toes

NEIL RAY MCLAUGHLIN ELEMENTARY Bottoms - navy and khaki pants and shorts (classic style), skirts, skorts or jumpers Shirts - solid white, navy or red (style optional) Socks - white, navy, red; tights - white, navy, red, natural Fridays - spirit wear can be worn with navy or khaki bottoms	KATHRYN S. MCWHORTER ELEMENTARY Bottoms - navy or khaki pants, shorts, capris, jumpers, skirts, pants and long shorts. All pants must fit at the waist - docker style and be no longer than the bottom of the shoe. Large legged, deep pocketed pants cannot be worn. Not to exceed 4 inches above the knee or length of fingertips. Shirts - Red, White, Light Blue, or Navy Blue with collars and no logos, Spirit Shirts

L. P. MONTGOMERY PRIMARY Bottoms - navy, brown khaki pants, skirts, shorts, skorts, jumper Shirts - polo style in white, navy, hunter green (short or long sleeve) white blouses with rounded collars, sweat shirts in navy blue or hunter green, Montgomery school spirit wear Accessories - brown belt Clothing items may not have any advertising or logos larger than three inches.	ANNIE H. RAINWATER ELEMENTARY Bottoms - Navy, khaki or blue denim pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, jumper (classic style no baggies or cargo pants) Shirts - solid red, white, navy or light blue (short or long sleeves) Collars are not required on shirts. All shirts must be tucked in. No extremely noticeable logos are allowed. Sweater, vests or sweatshirts must meet the required colors.

RIVERCHASE ELEMENTARY Bottoms - Khaki, navy, or plaid (plaid can only be purchased from LandsEnd) - slacks, shorts, skirts, skorts, jumpers Navy, hunter green, or white collared polo style shirt short or long sleeved Sweaters - v-neck, cardigan, pullover in navy or hunter green Sweatshirts - navy, hunter green, white solid colors, no logos Shoes - solid colored must have closed toe and heel Spirit wear shirts may be worn with classic styled 5 pocket jeans or jean shorts or regular uniform items on Fridays.	JUNE R. THOMPSON ELEMENTARY Bottoms - Navy, khaki - pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, jumper Shirts - polo style short sleeve - red, white, navy, white button down blouses or shirts Optional items if purchased through KMC Uniform Specialties - hunter green sweat shirt, polo shirt with school name on front.

JANIE STARK ELEMENTARY Bottoms - Navy or khaki - pants, shorts, skirts/skorts, jumper Shirts - collared golf-style, turtleneck - white, red, navy Cardigan - navy Stark logo red sweat shirt No logos on uniform items. Shoes - rubber-sole tennis shoe or athletic shoe

VIVIAN FIELD MIDDLE SCHOOL--(mandatory uniforms) Shirts • Vivian Field T - Shirts (Available at Vivian Field and may be worn untucked if appropriately fitted) Pants Classic style, dress-type Khaki or Navy colors only (Small pocket and metal brads on pants acceptable) • Must not be tight fitting • No stretch or denim materials allowed • Slits on pant legs must not exceed two inches • Pant legs must be hemmed, not frayed • Must be worn at waist, no sagging • Pockets must not extend past the knee Skirts/Shorts/Skorts/Capris/Jumpers must be Navy or Khaki only • Length no shorter than finger tips • Must not be tight fitting • No stretch or denim materials allowed Sweaters/Vests/Sweat Shirts • Sweaters, Sweater vests, or zipped, hooded, or plain sweatshirts must be in solid navy or white • Vivian Field Sweatshirts (may be in Navy or Gray colors) • Athletics (may be in Navy or Gray colors) All jackets and coats must not be worn in the school building and must be placed in locker before reporting to class. Unacceptable Pants/skirts/shorts/skirts: • Baggy style pants • Denim pants regardless of color or style • Tight fitting pants • Colors other than khaki or navy • Pants that are not hemmed • Pants with frays or holes • Pants longer than the bottom of the heel of the foot Sweaters/Jackets • Sweaters, sweater vests, or zipped, hooded, or plain sweatshirts may not have logos or stripes
