We appreciate the continued support of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch community. If you have any questions, would like to sponsor a community service project, or would like to purchase items for the Clothes Closet, please call or email us, and we can let you know what is currently in demand.

Who does it benefit?

The Clothes Closet benefits the children of our community. Clients must be referred by the student's principal, school counselor, or CIS (Communities in School) counselor. The referral forms are completed by the appropriate school agent and brought by the client the day of the visit.

How is it funded?

We are funded through monetary donations from local business and residents, coat/clothing/ sock/underwear drives from local organizations (PTA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts), and from volunteers who donate their time working in the Clothes Closet.

How can I help?

Donate your "gently" used clothing, shoes, and coats/jackets.
Donate money or organize a fundraiser.
Organize a Coat, Sock & Underwear or School Uniform Drive at your place of business, school, or organization.
Volunteer to work at the Clothes Closet by sorting clothing, organizing shelves, cleaning, etc.
Serve as a translator during Clothes Closet workdays.

General Guidelines

Unfortunately, due to the Clothes Closet being a volunteer run organization, we are unable to pick clothing up from donators. Listed below you will find the dates and times that the Clothes Closet will be open during the 2005-2006 school year so you can drop off your donations. All donations are tax-deductible, and receipts are gladly given upon request.
