Academy Sports and Outdoors has partnered with C-FB ISD to provide
standardized dress apparel items to children who are in need. Through
Academy's Standardized Dress Gift Card Voucher Partnership Program, over
500 pieces including pants, shorts and shirts were donated to C-FB ISD
Council of PTA's Clothes Closet. Thanks to Academy for giving back to the
community.
The Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District has taken steps to become increasingly efficient at integrating technology in the classroom. C-FB ISD has joined forces with Atomic Learning, a nationally respected provider of web-based software training.
The service will be implemented in three areas: staff development, as a curriculum supplement, and as a resource for parents of school-age children. That means educators, students, and their families can access Atomic Learning from school or home, all day, everyday.
Parents and students can see nutrition information on
meals, view menus and make wise dietary decisions by accessing the Virtual
Cafeteria (currently undergoing maintenance) or by calling Student Nutrition at
972-968-6390.
