Orientation Information
Please bring the following Items to Substitute Orientation:
- Official College Transcript showing 60 or more college hours.
- Tuberculosis Skin Test results no more than one year old from day of orientation.
- State Issued Picture ID (Driver's License)
- Social Security Card. You will be filling out an I-9 form for the IRS. Copies of your Social Security Card and State Issued Picture ID will be made. The name on your W-4 must match your Social Security Card. If your Social Security card is not in your current name, it is imperative that you make every effort to obtain one or begin the process to acquire a new one.
- Voided Check (If you wish to enroll in direct deposit)
At the Orientation, you will:
- Sign a Criminal Record Authorization form (Provided)
- Learn about mandatory fingerprinting procedures.
- Be given training on the Substitute Management system.
- Be informed of district policies and procedures for Substitutes.
- Have your picture taken for your Employee ID.
- Fill out request forms for campuses, grade-levels and contents.
*Upon submitting all paperwork, you are not guaranteed employment until you attend the staff development training in the afternoon until 3:00 p.m. as well as acceptable criminal history results.
