People who work in this pathway enjoy helping others learn new things, like to plan and participate in activities, enjoy providing services to help and please other people, are concerned about people's well being and safety, can follow procedure, can be a team member, can make decisions quickly and fairly, and/or are willing to take risks. Occupations within this area are related to economic, political and social systems. They focus on providing services based on people's wants, needs, tastes, welfare, and personal safety and security. These may include education, government service, leisure and recreation, religion, childcare, social services, personal services, library science, cosmetology, legal services, law enforcement, and criminal justice.
