About CFB-TV

CFB-TV is a partnership with the Academy for Media Arts and Technology (AMAT) at R. L. Turner High School and the district’s Department of Public Information. The district launched CFB-TV as another way to share information with the community. CFB-TV can be seen on cable television in Farmers Branch and Carrollton or can be viewed live on a computer by visiting www.cfbisd.edu. C-FB ISD is the first public school system in the nation to web stream its public access channel.

The channel serves as laboratory for AMAT students as they also run a radio station which plays on the channel. During football season, the AMAT students and staff join forces with the Public Information team to provide live audio broadcasts of select varsity games.

CFB-TV is now digital. It can be viewed on a digital TV on channel 15.5 without a cable box. In Carrollton, if you have a cable box, you can view CFB-TV on channels 95 & 98. It is also available on Verizon Channel 38.
