2005 Updates
Winter 2005: Construction is well underway at the District's new
Pre-Kindergarten Center on the site of the former First United Methodist
Church at the corner of Perry Rd. and Pearl St. Construction should be
completed this summer.
Janie Stark Elementary School, Thompson Elementary School and Newman
Smith High School are all scheduled to start renovation construction
this Spring.
Both Thompson and Stark will get new buildings on their sites and the
existing building will be demolished.
