A career and technical student organization preparing and assisting in the growth of future teachers! Students compete in selected events related to education ranging from bulletin boards, children’s literature, public speaking, ethics and career investigation.

Carrollton-Farmers Branch is wanting to hire Academy of Future Teacher graduates! Students completing the program of study will graduate with the Educational Aide I certificate. Partnerships with CFB allow for hire as a paraprofessional, a long term substitute, and ultimately a full time teacher upon completion of certification as a Texas teacher.

PTECH students have the opportunity to earn dual credit hours up to an associate degree through Dallas College at no charge to them.  Student also have the opportunity to earn a Level 1 certification through Dallas College that can be used to help them when they begin working to earn higher wages.  In addition, as with all CTE Career Clusters, students in the PTECH are able to earn Industry Based Certifications that can also be used to help students earn higher wages when they begin working.
