There are four testing structures used by the district to assess students’ academic progress.
- Classroom assignments, tests and quizzes
- District unit tests
- State mandated tests
- National tests
The Research, Planning and Evaluation department is responsible for managing and reporting all results of all state and national tests. The Division of Educational Services is responsible for the managing, implementing and reporting the results of the district unit tests. The Division of Educational services is responsible for policies and procedures related to classroom grading practices and report cards as well as providing support services to insure strong consistent student achievement in all assessments.

Traditional assessment instruments and the district unit tests are monitored by campus administrators and by the district’s Division of Educational Services.
