HOW CAN THE CAREER PLACEMENT
CENTER HELP?
 |
Would you like assistance with finding information about
specific careers to share with your classes?
|
 |
Would you
like help with organizing and implementing a career day |
 |
Would you like to have guest speakers from a specific
occupation visit your classes? |
Our terrific resources
include a speaker's bureau, videos, and articles that are
available to you as a teacher. We welcome class field
trips to our center.
For the applicants, we also provide
computer programs, books, articles, videos, and a
counselor to help them with their career choices. We can
help them determine their interpersonal strengths, decide
what occupation to pursue, determine what classes to take
for that occupation, decide what college to attend, apply
to a college, apply for financial aid, write a resume,
complete a job application, with interviewing skills, and
search for a job opening. Our programs complement their
COPES/CAPS/COPS information.
