The chance of icy roads and conditions may make it necessary for the schools in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD to be delayed or closed for the safety of students and staff.

If schools are delayed or closed due to inclement weather:

• A Special Alert email newsletter will be sent to subscribers advising them of the decision. To subscribe to the Special Alert e-newsletter, visit www.cfbisd.edu.
• An announcement will be posted on the District's website, www.cfbisd.edu, as soon as the decision has been made.
• Parents and staff will also be notified by phone through our mass notification message system called Connect-ED.
• In addition, parents and students are advised to listen to CFB-TV, local radio or television stations for a current news report.
