On Feb. 2, a model designer and pilot from the Cavanuagh Flight Museum came to speak with Blalack Middle School 6th graders about aviation during World War II and the impact that the Tuskegee Airmen had in various battles. The students are wrapping up studies on World War II in their World Cultures class. The event also helped to kick off Blalack’s celebration of Black History Month.
